A warm welcome to the 9 competitions of Swedish Forest Cup!
The competitions are in beautiful forests in Sweden and will be on 4
different maps wellknown for their interesting terrain.
WOC 1968 as well as the final of the Swedish league 2018 were on one of the
maps.
One of the world cups 1988 were on one of the maps and a number of national
events have been held on the 2 other maps.
The photos have been taken in the terrain and most often not from a path.
That makes it sometimes a bit more difficult to set the location of the
chair and the tasks take a little longer than usually to solve. In order to
increase the possibility to solve the tasks in time for all people and to
make it more important to read the map carefully both the answer time per
task as well as the penalty time for errors have been increased to 60
seconds.
The maps were originally mapped to be readable in 1:15000 or 1:10000 scale.
When scaled up to 1:5000 and/or 1:2500 small errors might appear. In
addition it has to be mentioned that the size of the control circles are
not fixed during the series. The size of circles should therefore not be
used to solve the tasks.
My intention is to have clear zeros and the zero tolerance is 4 m, no side
problems.
8 best results will be calculated in the total ranking.

For support regarding the Simulator you should reach out to Libor as usual.
My main goal with this series is to entertain during a difficult time and
for some minutes let you be at least virtually in the forest.
Hopefully we soon can attend competitions in the real world again.
Good luck to you all and I really hope you will enjoy the competitions.
